The old joke about voice teachers is 'Those that can't sing, teach.' That may be true in some cases, but George is an obvious exception: he sings, acts and teaches with a degree of excellence that defies comparison. He is a thoughtful, experienced, caring teacher who understands that the voice is very personal. Singing can make you feel very vulnerable but George will put you at ease. He creates a safe environment where you can sing, work and learn, and he tailors his teaching to your specific needs.
While he is always kind (his students absolutely LOVE him!), George will never give you false praise. He can be trusted to be unerringly truthful about your progress--and to tell you what to DO to keep improving--so if he says you're doing well, you can absolutely trust that. I really look forward to my lessons as George continues to help me enhance my voice. I have learned sooooo much! It's very gratifying to hear my voice get noticeably better and better, especially when others notice it, too.
George's willingness to share his gift by teaching as well as by singing cannot be underestimated (how often do you get the opportunity to learn from a world-class tenor?) and he charges far less than his lessons are worth.
